The Task
I was tasked with creating a patriotic illustration to commemorate Fireworks America's 30th anniversary.

MY ROLE
I acted as an illustrator and graphic designer creating the concept and running it past leadership for approval. I was to create something patriotic that could be used for different merchandise.
A bald eagle felt like a no-brainer design choice.
The problem
How do I illustrate a badass eagle with fireworks while still being mindful of production limitations like one-color printing? How do I create a modular design that will save myself future work if/when I need to reuse elements?
The outcome
My design was screen-printed on hundreds
of t-shirts, hoodies, and stickers. The design has proudly been worn by crew members, operators,
and management.
I was able to modify the illustration for full-color use and even come up with a fun alternate where the eagle interlocks with the Fireworks America logotype.
